Grandma Viney's Yellow and Pink is an heirloom tomato from Kentucky, discovered by Melvina Puckett. The variety was first introduced to a wider audience in the Seed Savers Exchange 2009 Yearbook by Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois, and Maria Stenger of Sonora, Kentucky. This indeterminate, regular-leaf plant produces large, beefsteak-type fruits weighing between 225 to 570 grams. The tomatoes boast a stunning bicolor appearance, with a golden yellow base adorned with pink blushes and marbling. The interior flesh mirrors this beauty, displaying a marbled pattern of yellow and pink. Grandma Viney's Yellow and Pink tomato is known for its sweet, fruity flavor with minimal acidity, and its firm, meaty flesh contains few seeds, making it ideal for slicing and adding a vibrant touch to salads or gourmet dishes. Seeds grown, harvested and seed saved in Cork Ireland.
