Black Hungarian Chili Pepper is a true heirloom treasure from Hungary, used in traditional dishes for centuries. This early variety is a powerhouse of productivity, with each plant bursting with vibrant fruit!
The peppers start out as a stunning purple-black and slowly ripen to a deep red, about the size of a jalapeño. Early on, they pack some serious heat, but once fully ripe, they mellow out to a mild 2,500 Scoville units with a delightful fruity flavor. Perfect for salsas, fresh dishes, or delicious chili sauces. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.
