Parsnip Long Holkruin is an old European heirloom parsnip variety. It has long been cultivated for its elongated white roots and reliable growth. This parsnip is a mid-to-late season root vegetable with a long, conical shape and creamy white flesh. Its flavour is sweet and nutty, improving after exposure to frost, which makes it particularly well-suited for autumn and winter harvests. It can be enjoyed roasted, mashed, in soups and stews, or left in the ground to be dug up fresh throughout winter.
