Molleric Chickpea organic

€2,50 EUR

We have run out of stock for this item.

Chickpeas have been cultivated for centuries in Asia and the Mediterranean. The plant is very attractive with ferny silver leaves, very productive and very easy to grow. The pods can be eaten young just like green peas or small French beans. When the pods are left to mature in a sunny position, they will develop into the larger chickpeas we are used to. The chickpea will resemble a small grain with green tones. It cooks very quickly , tripling its volume. Tastewise, -it has a mild taste, slightly sweet, and a very thin skin. Great for cooking or sprouting.

Please note chickpeas are susceptible to blight therefore be cautious with the watering and the humidity.
