Rapa senza Testa is a heirloom turnip or rapini variety from Italy. it is also called Turnip green and is grown for its edible leaves with a strong flavor. This variety does not produce bulbs. The leaves are best picked when young and tender ick when small and tender and be eaten steamed or in salads.

Sunlight: Full Sun or partial shade

Soil requirement: light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and prefers well-drained soil

Sowing and cultivation: Sow indoors from end February to March or Sow directly outdoors from April to October into well prepared soil in a sunny spot when temperatures reach between 6 to 22C. Sow seeds thinly into drills 1 cm deep and 20 cm apart.
