The Rawit Chilli Pepper is an old variety of chilli pepper originating from Indonesia. It has a good taste and heat for cooking and to dry, making it popular amongst gourmets. The Rawit Chilli pepper is a very hot one and favourite in Thailand or Indonesia culinary chilli cooking with a ratings as high as 400,000s Scoville heat units. This chilli is not for the faint of heart! It is commonly used in sauces, salsa, sambals, curry dishes and even stir fries.
