The Rhubarb chard is a beautiful and ornamental swiss chard that will stand out in the garden, The bright red stems along with the light green leaves are delicious in soups, gratins, cooked in butter, stuffed with ricotta cheese and lemon to name a few ways of cooking them. Please note they will loose their bright red color when cooked.

Optimal Germination Temperature: 20 - 25C

Germination time in days: 7-10 days

Indicative Days to maturity: Pick as needed

Sunlight: Full sun

Soil requirement: rich and well drained

Sowing and cultivation: Sow under cover from February to March. Sow directly outdoors from April to September. 3 to 4 seeds every 40 cm  in rows.  40 cm apart.
