Cauliflower Romanesco originates from Rome. This Italian Heirloom produces a early cauliflower measuring between18 to 20 cm in diameter. The shape of this cauliflower is like no other. It looks like a myriad of mini- bouquet spirals organized in a spiral pyramid. This cauliflower is really something to behold. The geometric shape of this cauliflower is called fractal and is particularly striking. Romanesco cauliflower is less demanding than other cauliflowers, especially in coastal areas.
