A tomato great for stuffing
Saint Pierre tomato is an old variety popular amongst gardeners since the late nineteenth century. Semi-late, this variety is particularly productive with clusters of 4 to 5 round bright red fruits, weighing from 100 to 120 g, with firm flesh and slightly tart flavor. it offers good resistance to bursting. This tomato lends itself wonderfully to stuffings, summer salads and coulis. It will require staking as it is an indeterminate tomato type. Very easy variety to grow, rewarding even for the novice gardener.
