Snow's Fancy pickling cucumber (aka Snow’s Pickling) is an American Heirloom cucumber variety that was first listed around1905 by Vaughan Seed House of Chicago. This pickling cucumber was selected from Chicago Pickling by J. C. Snow of a well known Snow Pickle Farm in Rockford, IL, US. The Snow's Fancy pickling cucumber plants have been producing profusely and are still this early November in our greenhouse in Cork, Ireland. The Snow's Fancy pickling cucumber is dark green, slender with a slightly spiky and thin skin, and measure around 12 cm long and 3 cm wide. It is a fabulous cucumber for pickles. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.

Sowing and cultivation: Sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last frost if you will be growing them in a heated greenhouse. Sow cucumber seeds on their side, 1–2 cm deep, in small pots. Keep them at 21°C . Or Sow directly outside after the last chance of frost has passed and the soil temperature is at 21 C.
