A versatile forgotten vegetable
Strawberry Spinach is one of the forgotten vegetables. Both the leaves and fruits are edible. The leaves are eaten raw in salads, or cooked like spinach and the small red fruits are also eaten. Visually, the small bright red fruits form a fruit that look like a cross between a blackberry and a strawberry however the fruit has a rather blend but juicy taste, and contains plenty of small seeds.
