Nice fruity tomato flavor for the summer

Summer Cider Apricot is a tomato variety that is said to originate from the Netherlands. Summer cider apricot tomato variety is a large Brandywine-type, potato-leaved plants, with yellow-apricot colour fruits.  The large fleshy fruits (> 300 g) flattened and slightly ribbed on the top, ripen to orange-pink-yellow over a period of about 80 to 85 days. The plants have a very good yield. (Indeterminate growth).
The meaty tomatoes have a delicious taste. Excellent flavor, fruity, well balanced between sweet and sour. Seasonal variety, hardy. Undetermined variety. They are mainly used in salads and cold dishes.

Sunlight: Full sun

Soil requirement: well draining and rich

Sowing and cultivation: Sow in pots from March, at a temperature between 16 and 20°C, under a well-lit shelter, 5 weeks before planting. Transplant the entire root ball in the ground, after the last frosts, at a minimum distance of 50 cm, burying the stem up to the first leaves. Water thoroughly when planting.
