Rutabaga or Swede Wilhelmsburger is an old german traditional swede variety. Very pretty variety with voluminous yellow roots and well-developed foliage. This biennal plant of 25-40 cm is grown for its sweet and tasty root and used raw or cooked. Great for autumn and winter.

Sowing and cultivation: Sow seeds in spring or late summer/early fall for winter harvest. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. Sow 3/5cm apart, thin to 15-20 cm apart. Harvest 3 months after sowing.
