A sweet American Heirloom melon

Minnesota Midget melon is a heirloom variety that originates from the State of Minnesota where it was bred in 1948. This petite melon variety is a muskmelon AKA cantaloupe type characterized by its small size ( about 12 cm in diameter) and its sweet and fragrant flesh. Suitable for container growing, its generous vines produce up to 8 melons per plant. This melon typically ripens in about 60 days from planting, making it ideal for our short growing season. Amateur Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland, not certified for commercial use.
