Boronia is a mid-season regular leaf dwarf variety from the DWARF TOMATO PROJECT that produces oblate medium fruit that ripens to dusky rose purple color. This prolific variety originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between New Big Dwarf and Paul Robeson, named Happy, The tomato flavor is well balanced, mild and sweet,. Boronia was selected and named by Patrina Nuske Small after a beautifully scented native Australian flower. This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative and released in 2014. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.

Sowing and cultivation: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow seed in a propagator from March in warmth. Keep small plants in a sunny, frost-free environment until they can be planted in the greenhouse from late April or outdoors in late May. Leave 50 cm distance between plants.
