A traditional syrian courgette with a fabulous taste

Courgette Syrian Baladi  (which means courgette from my country or village) is a heirloom variety of courgette from Syria. We got the seeds from a local seed conservation society and grew the Syrian courgettes in Cork, We have been amazed by the plants vigor and productivity. These courgettes have a fine, meaty flesh and a fabulous flavor. They are best picked young and are great sautéed or for stuffing. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.
