Plum purple radish is a colorful radish variety, with its bright deep purple round root, of about 1 1/2 inch. The flesh is white, crispy and sweet. This radish variety is hardy, adaptable and tasty and the radish does not become pithy. Purple Plum radishes were originally developed in 1985 by the Alfred Christianson seed company before being released.
