Delice de la Table Melon is a French Heirloom melon variety from around 1885 hard to find and almost extinct. This variety is very tasty and fragrant. The name "Delice de la table" translated means "Delight of the Table". This melon variety produces fruits weighing between 450 g and 2 kg with very sweet and aromatic orange flesh. Sowing and Cultivation: Start seeds indoors from the end of March to May, sow 3 seeds per pot at a depth of 1 cm, the tip directed downwards. Place the buckets in a heated mini-greenhouse or a propagator. Germination temperature of the seeds is between 24 and 35°C. Seeds should sprout between 10-15 days. When the seedlings have developed their first set of true leaves, select the most vigorous plant and transplant the other two into 2 new pots to give each of the seed more space. After the last frost, plant the seedlings in the polytunnel. Do not let the soil dry out too much.
