Russian tarragon belongs to the Asteraceae family. Perennial plant very resistant to cold. Numerous branched stems furnished with fine leaves. It can be grown in the ground or in pots. Very productive and robust, this Russian variety is the only one available in seed because French tarragon reproduces only by cuttings. The flavor of Russian tarragon is less pronounced than French tarragon, but it is more resistant to frost.
