The Bronze fennel is an anise-flavored perennial that adds drama to the garden with lacy fronds of a deep chocolate-bronze. The young stalks can be harvested for soups, herb butters or salads. Ornamentally, the bronze fennel foliage and flowers are a wonderful addition to bouquets.
