Vegetarian Chilli Pepper is a West Indian heirloom variety known for its fragrant and flavorful fruits. The story goes that during the famine in the West Indies in the 1700's. as the population only had vegetables to eat, this pepper was what was used to flavour their dishes. Widely used in Caribbean cuisine, it adds a mild, subtle yet delicious flavor to dishes without overwhelming spice levels.
