The aubergine Violet of Florence, Purple of Florence or "Violetta di firenze" is a heirloom aubergine variety from Florence in Italty. The vigorous and productive plants produce violet or deep purple round shaped aubergines of generous size. The delightful texture is creamy and bitterless making it ideal for a variety of uses in the kitchen.
