Dostal Cucumber Squash is a heirloom squash variety from the US, The seeds were donated to the Seed Savers Exchange by Arthur Dostal. The story goes that Arthur's parents got the seeds from a family friend. This squash variety is very productive and the fruits resemble a large mature courgette on the outside, starting green and cream white and turning dark green as they mature. The flesh is excellent with a butter like texture. soft and a sweet flavor. This squash can also be grown as a summer squash. This versatile vegetable can be used in soups, stews, roasted, or sautéed. One packet per order due to scarcity.
