The Kanner Hoell tomato variety was until recently only found in the Seed Savers Exchange seed catalog. This variety was donated to the seed savers exchange by Reverend Morrow or Minnesota who stated that the variety originated in Germany and had been in his family since 1916. The kannel Hoell variety is an indeterminate, regular leaf. mid-season red beefsteak tomato reaching up to 5" in diameter with a good flavor, moderately sweet and low acid.
