Matt's Wild Cherry tomato is a red currant tomato variety originating from Mexico, credited to Matt Leibman, hence the name. Plants produce heavy sets of intensely sweet, tart, and flavorful tiny, ½ in. deep red cherry tomatoes. Matt's Wild Cherry tomato plants are vigorous, disease-resistant, and sprawling therefore need support. The tomatoes self-sow readily. This is the type of tomato that we love eating on the spot!
