A tomato that will do well in cool climates

Pink Berkeley Tie Dye Tomato is a beautiful compact plant with wine coloured beefsteak tomato with green stripes by breeder Brad Gates in California. Great texture and flavour. This tomato plant is indeterminate and will produce fruits throughout the season. The plant will need support.

This variety is greatly recommended to those in cool maritime climates and those with very short or unpredictable seasons.

Soil requirement: Well drained and rich

Sowing and cultivation: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow 6 mm deep at a 21 C soil temperature. Transplant out after last frost. Space 60-90 cm apart. Indeterminate.
