The Pompei onion AKA Bianca di Pompei is a traditional spring onion variety from Campania in Italy. This variety of onion produces quite a large white bulb with long green stalks. It is usually sown from July to March and are harvested in spring and summer. They are best picked young for spring onions. We recommend doing succession planting of these onions if you'd like a constant harvest throughout the season as these onions are not great in storage so should be consumed promptly.
