The Italian tomato heirloom perfect for tomato paste
Originally from Italy, the 'San Marzano' tomato is an old variety renowned for the excellent flavor of its firmly fleshed and dense fruits that contain few seeds and juices. This San Marzano Nano is a determinate variety, a dwarf version of the San Marzano. The San Marzano tomato is the ideal tomato for fans of tomato paste, Napolitan sauce and canned tomatoes. These tomatoes are also very good in salads, which is not the case for all tomatoes of this type.
